EXCHANGES & RETURNS
Bluestone exists to satisfy our customers. Unless otherwise specified below, your purchase may be exchanged within 14 days from the original purchase date by the original client when accompanied with the sales slip. The item must be unused and unworn, in original condition, and in the original gift box with all warranty cards and explanation booklets intact. Items returned within the period stated can receive in-store credit for the entire purchase amount less shipping or opt for a return subject to a 20% restocking fee. Sale items, special orders, completed layaways, modified and/or custom pieces are not returnable or exchangeable. Gift recipients will be issued a merchandise credit only. Gift certificates are not redeemable for cash. No cash refunds will be issued. Any credit remaining after the exchange will be issued as a credit on the bearer’s account to be used against future purchases.
SPECIAL ORDERS
We regret that special orders are not returnable, and that no refund or exchange can be made. All special orders require a 50% nonrefundable deposit. A special order constitutes any jewelry, gemstone, watch, or gift item ordered or altered at the client’s request.
CUSTOM WORK
Custom designed jewelry involves metals, gems, and labor furnished by Bluestone for a specific client. As such, all custom jewelry is nonrefundable, and requires a 50% nonrefundable deposit before the work begins. Every effort will be made by Bluestone to accurately manufacture or produce the item(s) so ordered. Full payment upon receipt of custom work will denote the client’s complete satisfaction. Minor adjustments, such as ring sizing or texturing, will gladly be made by Bluestone to accommodate the wearer at either a modest fee or at no charge depending on the extent of the work involved.
LAYAWAYS
Items may be put on layaway for up to 3 months with a non-refundable minimum deposit of 25%. There must be monthly activity and the item must be paid in full by the end of the layaway period. Layaways canceled after 30 days will be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Any subsequent payments will not be refunded but may be used toward the purchase of other merchandise.
WHITE GOLD ENHANCEMENT DISCLAIMER
Most white gold jewelry items are rhodium finished, thus giving a whiter color to the completed piece. The rhodium finish is not, however, a permanent treatment and wears off with time.
COLORED GEMSTONE DISCLAIMER
Colored gemstones generally have been subjected to a stable and undetectable enhancement process unless otherwise specified. The gem and jewelry trade base prevailing market values on these universally practiced and accepted processes.
REPAIR TAKE IN
I agree that the approximate values and descriptions of the item(s) listed are correct and I accept the following terms and conditions: This store, including its employees, accepts no responsibility for condition or identification of jewelry or stones upon receipt. Items are submitted to this store for repair only and this store will not act as an insurer of the items listed. Responsibility for loss, theft, or damage is accepted by this store only when due to their negligence. Any damage or loss due to this store’s negligence will be limited to the cost to repair or replace the items and will not exceed the value declared. Should no value be listed, it will be assumed the value is less than $75.00.
