- Opened in 2007 in Tahoe city
- Linda’s favorite jewelry store was closing
- As many people, they came originally for skiing
- Marc and Linda decided to take a chance and purchased the storefront. This started a 17-year (and counting!) adventure into local family business. To help run the business, the Bigelow’s recruited their sons, Aaron and Benton.
General Intro
Like many Tahoe transplants, Linda and Marc Bigelow found Lake Tahoe through skiing. They had taken a few vacations to the area and grew to love a local jewelry store in Tahoe City, when one day they received notice that their favorite store was closing. This came at a time in their lives when change was welcomed, and they decided to take the plunge into starting a family business. Luckily, they were able to convince their sons, Aaron and Benton, along with Linda’s sister Mary, to join the adventure with them. They purchased the Tahoe City storefront in December 2007 and eventually expanded to Truckee in June 2012. Along with an exquisite array of jewelry, the Bigelow’s pride themselves in showcasing local artists and jewelry designers, as well as supporting local wineries at their Truckee location.
